# PL Risk to attend WSIA Conference

PL Risk is pleased to announce that CEO Mike Smith, Vice President Javier Gonzalez and VP of Cannabis Insurance Michael Peters will be attending the Wholesale and Specialty Insurance Association conference in San Diego from November 16th to the 18th

Javier Gonzalez is happy to be attending the conference. “PL Risk has been at the forefront of emerging trends including Cannabis and Cyber Insurance which has continued to grow in the last three plus years. We hope to be able to \\share our knowledge with the vendors at this conference.”

Michael Peters, Wholesale Cannabis Insurance Practice Leader, is thrilled to be attending this year’s WSIA: “Overall, we are actively seeking carrier/MGA partnerships that’ll allow for greater expansion of insurance products for the cannabis industry. PL Risk’s Wholesale Cannabis Insurance Division continues to see significant opportunities in Worker’s compensation, Cyber, D&O, Monoline EPLI and Commercial Auto. We hope sharing our experience and knowledge with underwriting teams at this year’s conference will lead to a few new carriers jumping into the cannabis insurance arena.”
