While Producers and Account Managers get the glory, without a team behind the scenes it all falls apart. That’s why we are proud to spotlight Kristen Westerduin in our November Newsletter.

Kristen began her career with the team five years ago as an Administrative Assistant and has since become a primary contact for the Wholesale and Retail Customer Service Division. Her responsibilities include client communications, Property & Casualty and Surplus Lines compliance, and administrative support. She prioritizes clear communication, obtaining the documentation needed for each policy, and keeping all parties informed of any ongoing activities.

When asked about her working with Axis as long as she has, Kristen had this to say. “As a dedicated staff member of Axis Insurance Services and PLRisk Specialty for over 5 years, I believe that being attentive, curious, and genuinely invested in our clients is one of our Customer Service team’s greatest strengths.

Throughout my time with our company, I have learned how much insurance shapes our lives, careers and business. I am very thankful and honored to contribute to our agency’s culture of understanding and communication to afford the best customer experience.”

Kristen was hired after graduating from Bard College with a degree in Fine Arts and French Literature and is happy to utilize her skills to offer the best customer experience possible. She now lives in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, and enjoys painting, cooking, and playing volleyball in her spare time.”
