Mark is a seasoned professional liability broker who will be celebrating his 10th year anniversary with the company next year. Mark specializes as a Professional, Management and Cyber Liability Specialist and is very well known in the industry.   Mark joined the company in 2015 having spent the last several years in the life science sector of Professional Liability. He is a seasoned professional with 25 years of experience in the industry, specializing in Executive Liability (D&O, EPLI, Fiduciary, Crime, and K&R) and Professional Liability (E&O) products and, inclusive of Technology E&O/Cyber Liability and Healthcare related accounts. Mark has brokered these products across all industry classes during his career. As a seasoned professional Mark has a storied carrier which includes brokering, underwriting and business development. He is a constant fixture in industry associations and in community volunteer events.   Mark began his career at Swett & Crawford (CRC today) on the west coast before moving east in 2005 and joining Tri City Insurance Brokers (CRC today) as a broker he became an industry leader specializing in hard-to-place business while developing a network of retail brokers. Mark gained further experience working as a Business Developer with Business Risk Partners and with NAS Insurance services. In between wholesale broking positions he spent a few years as a Business Development Manager for NAS Insurance Services, all the while, gaining knowledge of the business and building relationships across the market.   Mark took an opportunity and joined PLRisk in 2015, only a year after it was founded, to get in on the grass roots of a new and emerging company. Since then, he has not looked back. Currently, Mark works with hundreds of retail brokers nationwide in delivering high quality insurance products in every state.   Mark brings more to the table that just his insurance expertise. He is an industry favorite at industry events networking and sharing his expertise. He is an active member of the Eastern Chapter of PLUS (Professional Liability Underwriting Society), the PIA (Professional Insurance Agency) of NY and NJ was well as the IIA of NJ. Additionally, he contributes his time significantly to several charities including @CUMAC ECHO, a local organization that supports the food dependent population of Northern Jersey. Mark can frequently be seen handing out food, stocking shelves or even serving a meal or two.   Mark said. “I have been part of this organization for 10 years and to see the growth from day one to today is incredibly inspiring.  I am proud to work with such great people every day.  The passion and dedication the entire team brings to providing great solutions for its clients is noteworthy.  It is proof that our clients fully trust in what we are doing and providing for their Insured’s.  I am extremely excited for the next several years because it is clear the sky is the limit.”   Javier Gonzalez, a Partner, and EVP of sales had this to say about Mark. “Mark’s lengthy experience within our product lines for a myriad of industries has put in him in a great position to deliver market leading solutions for his retailer client base.
