PL Risk Advisors is pleased to announce one of its own Matt Culkin will be recognized as an Emerging Leader at the IBANY Emerging Leader Reception on Thursday, June 13th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Battery Gardens in New York City.
Each year, every IBANY member firm is invited to choose one of its employees as an IBANY Emerging Leader in recognition of their outstanding accomplishments, demonstrated leadership and commitment to the industry. IBANY honors the Emerging Leaders from all their members companies at a special reception. The year's Emerging Leaders are featured in an industry publication and on the IBANY website. From among all Emerging Leaders identified each year, one from each of our membership categories is designated as IBANY Emerging Leader of the Year. IBANY Emerging Leaders will have not yet reached a senior-level position, but their track-record should reflect a strong potential for appointment at the highest levels of the profession.
Matt Culkin is a professional liability broker with 7 years’ experience and has been with PL Risk Advisors, Inc. since the brand launched in 2014. Matt specializes in hard to place E&O, D&O, EPL and Cyber Liability insurance. As an emerging leader, Matt is actively involved in the community and is significantly involved in company’s Charity Committee, the Professional Liability Underwriting Society and a member of Future PLUS. As part of the Charity Committee Matt is involved in a local food pantry and worked with half a dozen other charity organizations dealing with autism, addiction, and child trafficking. He mentors younger producers and is a respected broker in our community. He is currently working on his RPLU and is well deserving of this award.
