In the fast-paced world of commercial insurance, success is built on expertise, dedication, and a genuine passion for helping clients manage risk. PLRisk is proud to introduce Michelle Delany as our new Wholesale Account Manager.
Michelle’s career spans nearly two decades, during which she has honed her skills across multiple lines of insurance, including Workers’ Compensation, Property, Casualty, Professional Liability, and Cyber Liability. She took on various executive roles in three different companies thanks to her work ethic and her commitment to getting deals done right.
Before joining PLRisk, Michelle served as an Associate Vice President and broker, where her leadership and strategic insight made a measurable impact on the company’s fortunes. She played a key role in managing both new and renewal business submissions, driving a 30 percent increase in revenue within a single year. Her ability to balance client relationships with operational efficiency set her apart as a trusted advisor and team leader.
Throughout her career, Michelle has demonstrated an exceptional ability to manage large portfolios and complex client needs. She maintained a book of business with over 400 clients, ensuring that her clients are satisfied with their performance and maintaining their working relationship for multiple years
Her approach combines analytical precision with a people-first mindset. Whether negotiating terms, reviewing coverage, or guiding clients through claims, Michelle’s focus remains on delivering clarity, confidence, and value.
When asked about her new start, Michelle had this to say, “I am very excited to join PLRisk and bring the knowledge and experience I have gained throughout the years. I am grateful to the team for the extremely warm welcome that I have received. I look forward to contributing to the growth of the company and learning alongside my talented colleagues.

Outside of work, Michelle calls Woburn, Massachusetts home, where she lives with her husband and two children. When she isn’t keeping up with her kids or her two dogs, she loves Netflix and going to concerts in the Boston area.
Michelle’s journey is a testament to what passion and perseverance can achieve in the insurance industry. Her ability to adapt, lead, and deliver results continues to make her an invaluable part of the PLRisk Wholesale Division.
