This is a tremendous honor as its one of the biggest designations in the industry and comes after years of study and testing while also maintaining the quality of work PLRisk is known for.
CPCU or the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation, is a professional credential earned by individuals who specialize in risk management and property-casualty insurance.
The CPCU credential is most likely to be earned by insurance agents and brokers, insurance claims representatives, risk managers, and underwriters. It is offered by The Institutes, an industry organization that provides educational support, resources, and research to risk management and insurance professionals so they can better serve the public. To even reach this milestone, aspirants have to have been in the business for over 2 years.. In addition they needed to attend and pass eight different courses and tests that covered the entirety of the insurance industry. In essences, this designation is seen as a masters degree in the Insurance world.

About Josh
Josh is a Customer Service Representative for PLRisk Cannabis Division, working with our staff to engage customers and assist with the daily customer service needs of our insured’s retailer and production staff. He has day to day interaction on the front line and offers a knowledgeable and professional experience in servicing the insurance needs of our Cannabis division. Prior to joining PLRisk Josh worked with Willis Towers Watson as an Assistant Client Service Associate and developed his skills working alongside of account managers in the Property Casualty and the real estate divisions helping provide outstanding service the company’s diverse clientele. Josh has had other experience in both sales and service having spent time at X (formerly Twitter) working as an Account Executive and facilitating calls and advertisements and also with Team Chiseled LLC, a fitness company, where he worked with clients and helped lead his team of coaches in working with clients in fulfilling their fitness goals.
Josh’s experience with a large national insurance brokerage, combined with his customer interaction skills developed as a salesperson and trainer, makes Josh an ideal fit in his role as a customer service representative for PLRisk.
Josh is an avid fitness buff and enjoys fitness training and motorcycle riding from his home office in Tupelo, Mississippi.
